By creating a Stack account, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Stack.

Stack is a budget app that helps you track spending and optimize credit card rewards. We provide:

• Budget tracking and categorization
• Credit card rewards optimization (the Optimizer)
• Net worth tracking
• Conversational AI assistance via Max

Stack is a software tool. We don't move your money, lend you money, or hold your funds.

To use Stack, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate account information
• Keep your password secure
• Notify us if your account is compromised

You're responsible for activity on your account.

You agree to use Stack only for lawful purposes. Don't:

• Use Stack to commit fraud or violate financial regulations
• Attempt to access other users' accounts
• Reverse engineer Stack
• Use Stack to harm others
• Resell access to Stack

Violations may result in account termination.

Stack will offer a 30-day free trial followed by paid Pro subscription:

• Trial: 30 days, full access, requires payment method on file
• Auto-conversion: At day 30, your card is charged for Pro Annual ($79.99) unless you cancel or downgrade
• Refund: 7-day no-questions refund window after charge
• Cancellation: Anytime in Settings

Specific subscription terms will be finalized before public launch.

Your data belongs to you. See our Privacy Policy for details on collection, use, and your rights.

Stack uses third-party services (Plaid, OpenAI, Stripe, others) that have their own terms. By using Stack, you also agree to relevant third-party terms.

Stack may be unavailable during maintenance, due to technical issues, or due to third-party outages. We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service.

Stack provides information about your finances and recommendations about card usage. Stack is not:

• A financial advisor
• A bank or financial institution
• A guarantee of rewards or savings

Decisions about your finances are yours. Stack is a tool, not a substitute for professional financial advice.

To the extent permitted by law, Stack is not liable for:

• Lost rewards opportunities
• Errors in recommendations
• Third-party service issues
• Indirect or consequential damages

Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid Stack in the past 12 months.

You can delete your account anytime in Settings.

We can terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

If we update these Terms, we'll notify users by email and post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
